Our 4 Bedrooms

If Frybrook Walls could talk – what wonderful tales they would tell.

Thanks to historical architecture, all bedrooms are different in shape and size. While respecting the original architecture we have endeavoured sympathetically to integrate modern comfort and luxury.

We hope you will enjoy your stay in our house, and also your breakfast which will be served in the elegant Heron (Máire Fhada) Room on the Ground Floor.

Car parking is free at Frybrook.

Our four rooms are all ensuite and feature:

Kingfisher (Cruidín) Room – 1st Floor

• This large bedroom is full of charm and character, with high ceilings, original imposing fireplace, large Georgian windows complete with shutters, and offers a great view of the countryside; maybe even a Connemara pony …
• A combination of traditional furniture with a modern twist, this peaceful space is yours to relax in after an eventful day exploring Boyle and beyond.
• The ensuite bathroom, the original closet with high ceilings, now offers a large walk-in rain shower to wash away the cares of the day.

Wagtail (Glasóg) Room – 2nd Floor

• This large front-of-house bedroom has an air of the past with a cast iron bedhead, traditional wardrobe, an original fireplace and fantastic views of Boyle town and river.
• Its Iarge ensuite bathroom, features a traditional bath (shower over bath) overlooking majestic trees.

Chaffinch (Ri Rua) Room – 2nd Floor

• This large front-of-house bedroom is a bright graceful room with original fireplace and sash windows with shutters. A little corridor leads to your ensuite cosy bathroom and ‘Wren’ dressing room, an extra space to dress for an evening or simply to read from a chest full of books while overlooking our secret garden.

Swallow (Fáinleog) Room – 2nd Floor

• This room in the back of Frybrook house is accessed via part of the servants’ staircase;  it overlooks the old Mill and Millmount House in the distance.
• This is a delightful ensuite twin bedroom which can be interconnected to the ‘Chaffinch’ room via the ‘Wren’ reading room if friends or family want to be close.
